Geo: 38.916252, 1.453909
This gorgeous beach is 2.6 kilometers from Ibiza town. To get there, you need to follow the long wooden promenade of the port. It is 15 minutes away by foot, 10 minutes away by bike and 5 minutes away by car from Ibiza port. There are also bus stops nearby connected to the downtown. These Bus lines stop near Talamanca Beach, Ibiza: L12A, L12B, L45.
The most charming way to arrive is via the City Boat, a small boat crossing from the main port to the end of Marina Botafoch. Riding the boat is an excellent opportunity to admire Dalt Vila, a fantastic route as in Venice.
Did you know?
Talmanca is known as the ‘Beach of Ibiza Town’, its proximity to the main port, its shallow turquoise clear waters and long sandy beach are its main attractions. In 1966, Romanian writer Emil Cioran visited Ibiza and wrote the book entitled “Notebook from Talamanca” inspired by his travel to the city. Talamanca’s Marina is divided into two sections: The Marina Botafoch, nearest Talamanca, with top quality restaurants and boutiques, and the Marina Nueva, near Ibiza Town, where the ferries to Formentera undertake.

What to see:
There is a pleasant and easy hiking route in Talamanca; beginning from Bar Flotante, cross the bay and get to Sa Punta cave. Behind this beach is Ses Feixes an area of reed beds designed by the Arabs in the 10th century. This green spot is a charming landscape that still survives in the middle of the urban zone. It is worthwhile to take a walk or ride a bike in this area.
There are a number of hotels facing the bay of Talamanca with a panoramic view of Ibiza Town at night and some magnificent restaurants on the beach.
What to do:
Aside from relaxing on the sea beds admiring the view, sunbathing to get that tan, eating good food and drinking booze, Talamanca is also peaceful and a quiet place where you can enjoy a glass of wine accompanied by fresh sea breeze and a spectacular view of Ibiza Town. Although it doesn’t have the busy nightlife compared to its local neighbours, the restaurants and bars are open till late.
Talamanca offers a wide range of water activities, including scuba diving, paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, and sailing. One particularly noteworthy initiative is A Sea of Possibilities, a project led by Club Náutico Ibiza in collaboration with local associations.
The aim of A Sea of Possibilities is to provide adventure activities, games, sports, and therapeutic experiences at sea for people with special needs. The team is made up of professionals from various fields, including healthcare, education, and sports, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
The project also welcomes volunteers, offering a meaningful opportunity to support a positive and impactful initiative while spending your summer in Ibiza.
