Port des Torrent is a beach in the Sant Josep municipality but it belongs to Cala de Bou Bay of San Antoni Municipality.
The coast is home to hotels, vacation homes, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs, beach clubs, and shops. It is typically a significant summer tourist movement. It is a lovely little beach excellent for snorkeling due to the crystal clear water with plenty of sea creatures to see.
Tourists and locals use the beach facilities to meet in Port des Torrent because of the lively environment, the well-known restaurants and the comfort this beach offers. There is always a space to throw that beach towel in the sandy beach or on the side of the fishermen’s cabin. At night, it is lovely and quiet.

Port des Torrents is part of the Bay of Sant Antoni. It is a sandy beach with shallow waters. Although it is relatively small, 100 meters long and 50 meters wide, it is very comfortable for families with its amenities such as showers, lifeguards, loungers, parasols, disabled access, restaurants and bars.

Port des Torrent is 20 kilometers from Ibiza town and six kiometers from Sant Antoni. Getting here is easy with transportations such as car, scooter, and bus or even by ferry. From Sant Antoni bus station, take the bus number L2 or L6. If you decide to go by ferry, go to Sant Antoni port. A cab from Ibiza town costs about 30 euros. From Ibiza town drive to Sant Antoni, take the C-731 route. When you arrive at the port of Sant Antoni, there is a central roundabout with a distinctive Egg Columbus monument. Take Sant Agustí Avenue, signposted as Cala de Bou road. Sant Agustí Avenue goes southwest along the bay of Sant Antoni. Six kilometers ahead is the Port des Torrent road sign. If you arrive early in the morning, you will find a parking lot next to the beach; people usually park nearby.
Did you know?
Port des Torrent got its name from the torrent that starts on the Sa Talaia Mountain, ending on this beach. Moreover, it is a perfect natural port. Sixty years ago, there were only fishers’ movements on their cabins on the side. The beach was unspoiled, only a small chiringuito -the Spanish little beach bar, provided fresh beer to the locals.
What to see:
The Ibosim Brewhouse is situated on Valencia Road, which reaches Port des Torrent Beach. Ibosim is the only artisinal beer made in Ibiza and it was launched in 2013. It contains 100% natural ingredients, without additives, unfiltered and with natural carbonation provided by a second fermentation in a bottle. There are seven types of beers in the room in Ibosim Brewhouse and restaurant, if you visit it, try their Mediterranean cuisine too.
What to do:
There are many water activities to do in Port des Torrent such as pedalling, kayaking, diving, and snorkeling. There are also few sunbeds to lounge in, listen to your favorite music or the sound of nature or just take a nap.

To have the best artisanal beer made in Ibiza go to Ibosim Brewhouse, try one of the seven types of beer as carob porter, pale ale, Indian pale ale, gluten-free, etc. In fact, it is a cool lively bar in the neighborhood a few meters to the Port des Torrent beach.
The shopping area where you will find prestigious fashion brands, clothes, shoes, accessories, beachwear, and jewelry is in San Antoni, the closest town and tourist center. Shops everywhere and a street market every Friday called Art Mercat, local products, Ibiza designers, trendy products coming from India, Nepal, and Thailand.
Tips:
Please do not confuse Port des Torrent beach with Es Torrent cove; both are in the same municipality but not in the same area. Port des Torrent is near Sant Antoni, and Es Torrent is in Es Cubbells. In addition, both are very different.
