Cala des Xuclar

Cala des Xuclar

Cala Xuclar is a small space that nature created to amaze us. The coves on this north coast of Sant Joan municipality are very similar. They all are of small proportions; their sand is granulated, clear water with abundant marine fauna, surrounded by cliffs and have a chiringuito, a typical beach restaurant.

Identity card:

Type: Grained Sandy Beach

It is a tiny cove very close to Portinatx in the municipality of Sant Joan; it measures 35 meters in length and 20 meters in width. In this cove, it is common to practice snorkeling, paddle surfing, and kayaking as the tide is calm and the water is smooth and crystalline. Within and outside the shore, the surface is of granulated sand, wearing booties is advisable. There is a restaurant which offers umbrella and sunbed service, howerver, there is no lifeguard here. If you are traveling with kids, you have to watch them because the rocks around can be very slippery.
