If you follow the west coast from the municipality of Sant Josep up to the iconic bay of Sant Antonio, you will see several small beaches in between. One of them is called Cala de Bou or better known as Xinxo Beach.
It has all the main amenities such as shops, hotels, sunbeds, parking, bars, restaurants, cars for rent, etc. This urban beach is perfect for families.
The landscape is charming and the ambiance is lively and glamorous, a perfect place to enjoy an alluring day at the beach.

Xinxó beach is a small beach and the very last one in the coastline of San Antonio Bay. Hotels and apartment buildings surround it, which is not quite attractive, but it has captivating view of the sunset and the yacht club. A place you can easily reach in a dream holiday, where you have what you need.
Its size of 50 meters wide and 150 meter long is enough to spend the day sunbathing. It has soft golden sand to lie down on and a rocky headland. There are several things to do here, such as doing water activities, go to a bar to quench your thirst, eat in a restaurant that serves good food and has a fantastic seafront terrace or go shopping just a few steps away.

How to get there:

Xinxó beach is 23 kilometers from Ibiza Town and 4 kilometers from San Antonio, which is actually reachable by walking. There are different modes of transportations to get here such as by car, scooter, bus or ferry. From Sant Antoni bus station, take the bus number L2 or L6. If you decide to go by ferry, take it in the Sant Antoni port. A cab from Ibiza town is over 30 euros. From the town of Ibiza take the C-731 road to Sant Antoni. On arrival at the port of San Antonio there is a central roundabout with a signature Columbus Egg Monument. In this roundabout, take the Sant Agustí Avenue signed as Cala de Bou direction. The Sant Agustí Avenue goes along the Sant Antoni bay to the southwest. The signpost Platja d’en Xinxó is four kilometers away and parking is on the side of the street.
Did you know?
The beach was originally called Cala de Bou and the rocky headland is called Punta Xinxó, but people started calling it Playa Xinxó, and that coastal area took the name of Cala de Bou. You may find this beach as Cala de Bou in some maps that are not yet updated.

What to do:
One of the most exciting water sports that you can enjoy with your family and friends in Ibiza is Banana Boat riding. It is not only fun, it is also thrilling.
After having an adrenaline rush from Banana Boat riding, you can do something soothing by going to Kumharas, a restaurant-bar where a live band plays music from all over the world during sunset.

Kinomi

Relish
Relish restaurant is located a few meters from Xinxó, it offers an international menu, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine and with a good selection of vegan and vegetarian choices. The restaurant and bar stretches over the San Antonio Bay to a wide covered terrace with views.

What about drinks, shops and hotels?
Do you want to buy a nice souvenir from Ibiza? From Es Xinxó beach, follow the Sant Agustí Avenue to San Antonio port by the coast and discover clothes, beachwear, clothes and postcards shops.
To have drinks, the Kumharas restaurant is the best place to go as this restaurant has an extensive cocktail menu.
Another place to go is the BN3 lounge, they serve the leading drinks and cocktails, it is very close to the beach and they have large screens to watch live sports.
The Amàre Beach Hotel, part of the Amàre Hotels is situated in Platja Xinxó, it has a perfect view of the sea.
Tips:
Platja d’en Xinxó is quite a touristic beach, at the height of the season, it can get overcrowded from midday to sunset.
