Sol d’En Serra
Sol d’En Serra
During peak season in Ibiza, it is really knackering to find peace and quiet as millions of tourists from all over the world visit this magnificent island. But, there is always a place for those who just wants sun, sea and silence.
Another secluded beach that is less visited in Ibiza is the beautiful Sol d’en Serra. It is one of the few remaining untouched beaches on the island that gives you the feeling of having your own exclusive beachfront on some quiet days.
An extraordinary small-scale cove with eye catching views of the surrounding cliffs. Loungers, parasols, showers, toilets are available in this beach and it is also a perfect place for snorkeling but be precautious of the currents. There are no amenities available but sun beds, showers, bar, parking, toilet are all available in the restaurant just above it.
Identity card:
Type: Pebbly Beach
Sol d’en Serra is 300 meters long and only 5 meters wide. A rugged beach at the foot of the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It consists of small gray pebbles and has a restaurant of high quality just above the cliff.
This beach’s bright blue water is harmonious and irresistible to look at but it has strong tidal currents due to its position facing south, making it not suitable for families with children. But, the only thing that is less attractive in this beach is the dried sea grass on the side washed by the wind. But all in all, the water is completely transparent and refreshing and the views won’t let you down.
