This beach is situated right between San Antonio and Sant Josep municipalities but is still in San Antonio Bay. It has become a favorite beach for families because of its incredible adaptability on its access for children and elderly.

This beach is 300 meters long and 25 meters wide. Its beautiful soft golden sand is surrounded by a stunning promenade and its crystal clear water is suitable for children of any age. With almost little to no wind, the water is as calm as a swimming pool.

How to get there:

Playa Es Pouet is about 2 kilometers from the town of San Antonio and is within walking distance along the sea. It is also 25 kilometers from the town of Ibiza.
There are 4 different ways to get there. By car, motorcycle, bus or ferry.
Taxi from Ibiza town costs over 30 euros.
Meanwhile, taking the bus L2 and L6 from Sant Antoni bus station is cheaper but takes a little bit longer. The other option and a fun way to get to this beach is by taking a ferry at San Antonio port.
Of course the easiest is by car or motorcycle.
From Ibiza, take the C-731 road and drive towards Sant Antoni. When you reach the port of San Antonio, there is a central roundabout with a famous Columbus monument Egg. Take Sant Agustí road, signed as Cala de Bou direction, in this roundabout. Sant Agustí Avenue goes southwest along the Bay of San Antonio and the road signposts Platja de Pouet is two kilometers away.

The name Pouet is because of the existence of an old well on the shore, Pouet means little well in the Catalan language.
One of the oldest beach restaurants in Ibiza called Es Puetó is situated in this beach and it is celebrating its 51st year anniversary in the year of 2020.

Take a walk along the promenade from es Pouet beach to the center of Sant Antoni, enter the shops and bars along the way.

Es Pueto
At this beach stands a well-known restaurant that has been providing the best quality cuisine and service for more than 50 years. Es Pueto serves Mediterranean food, fresh fish and other seafoods. For locals it is a special place because it is open all year long. You can see it, once you get to the shore.

Natural Pau is the option to have drinks at a different spot, healthy and creative mixology, as well as non-alcoholic drinks in a wild atmosphere. The garden-terrace is full of nature and good vibes.
The shop La Sirena, with the best brands of apparel, is near the es Pouet beach. There are two La Sirena shops in the town of San Antonio.

Tips:
This beach is busy during peak season; we advise you to arrive before midday to rent a sunbed and a parasol. You will surely enjoy this beach.
