Platja des Figueral
Es Figueral belongs to the municipality of Santa Eulalia. It is surrounded by hotels, resorts, apartments, bars making it one of the northeast of the island’s most popular beaches. The beach is beautiful, long and with soft sand. It has all the services, plus wheelchair access, bus stop and taxi service.

Es Figueral is an extensive beach of fine and soft golden sand that measures 400 meters long and 50 meters wide. The water is clear and clean with a sandy bottom. It has all the necessary services to complete your day such as sunbeds, umbrellas, bars, restaurants, beach volleyball network and water activities like kayaking and stand-up paddle. They also have a wheelchair ramp, lifeguard services, showers and toilets, bus stop, souvenir and beachwear shops.

How to get there:

Es Figueral can be reached by car or scooter, from Ibiza town it is 26 kilometres. Taking the taxi costs around 35 euros. Another option to get there is by taking the ferry from Santa Eulalia port or Es Canar Port.
By bus, from Ibiza town, take the bus number L13 Eivissa-Santa Eulària. Once you get to the town of Santa Eulària, take a second bus L16B bound for Sant Carles-Es Figueral-Cala Sant Vicent.
By car, you have to drive 16 kilometers to Santa Eulalia town taking the road E-10. Once you get to town, follow the road sign to Sant Carles then to Es Figueral.

Es Figueral means land of figs, and this area was crucial for the production of figs, one of the fruits that has represented the island for many years until agriculture was forgotten.
The story goes that since the first century the fig was one of the products exported from Ibiza along with salt and some minerals.
In ancient times the fig was used to make jam and fig bread, it was also food for animals, and the tree was the perfect shade to protect oneself from the summer sun.
Still, from August onwards, when you go along the roads of Santa Eulalia, the smell of the fig invades the senses; large old fig trees are preserved in private fields and on the side of the roads.

If you want to stay in Es Figueral, you will have no problem booking one of the hotels in the residential area. For example, Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca, which has multiple services, ideal for families with children, green spaces, buffet restaurant, swimming pools, gym and sports activities.

Artisans, often after the 1970s, share their creativity in clothes, jewelry, jewellery, accessories, art decoration on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays; music and entertainment are also available!
Tips:
The island’s northeast has plenty of magic, no denying the views and beaches as well as its environment are impressive, but if you’re fleeing from the tourist bustle maybe Es Figueral isn’t for you as there’s plenty of tourism in the summer.
