In the municipality of Santa Eulalia, you will find this small beach that gets prime views of the Mediterranean Sea between the Port of Santa Eularia and Es Canar. Although the beach is within walking distance from the center, it is quiet and relaxing and consists of a mixture of sand and gravel.

It is 50 meters long and 3 meters wide and is mostly rocky. There is a promenade at the back of the cove, and the sea can be reached from anywhere. There are hotels, parking, restaurants, shops and bars in the area. The beach however does not have access for the disabled and no life guard.

Sunbeds and parasols are available and there is a restaurant from which you can take a route up to the view point, where you can have a clear view of the area.

How to get there:

Geo: 38°59’05.1″N 1°32’33.7″E

Platja de Ses Estaques is 16 kilometers away from Ibiza Town and can be reached by bus, car, scooter or taxi. Taxi fare costs around 30 euros while taking the bus is cheaper. Take bus number L13 Eivissa-Santa Eulària to get to this beach.

By car, from Ibiza town, take the road E-10 to Santa Eulalia town. Once you arrive at Santa Eulalia del Río, take the detour to Es Canar and follow the road sign to Platja de Ses Estaques. At 200 meters you will find the beach and the Ibiza Congress Palace. You can park at the designated parking lot right next to the beach.

Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza or The Congress Center, the most modern building in the municipality of Santa Eulalia is located near Ses Estaques. The center provides 14 fully equipped rooms that can be reserved to host all kinds of cultural and social events. From the building, you can see a panoramic view of the Mediterranean pine forest that surrounds it.


What to see:

At the end of the Paseo Marirtimo next to the yachting harbor you will see Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza or The Congress Center.

You will also see the Marina Santa Eulalia or also known as Puerto Deportivo de Santa Eulalia or Club Nautico de Santa Eulalia.

What to do:

Pamper yourself having a blissful massage or have an anti-ageing facials after a day long sunbathing at Revival by Clarins Wellness Club located in Aguas De Ibiza Grand Luxe.

Sit in one of the restaurants and enjoy the breathtaking views of the marina dreaming of that yacht you have always wanted to have. Or, if you want to be more adventurous, get on a car or scooter and go to Marina Botafoch and Port of Ibiza. They are both worth checking too.

El Rincon Del Marino

Just a few minutes walk from Ses Estaques is El Rincon Del Marino. If you like great service, good food at a reasonable price and a nice view overlooking the marina, this gem is perfect for your taste. You can expect to have Spanish and European cuisine and vegetarian options. They prepare traditional fresh food and it is a great spot for fresh tapas and grills. Try their tuna sandwich and chips, octopus salad, chorizo, Spanish omelet, bone steak, bacon roll and paella. Don’t forget to get a nice house red wine.

For shopping, a few minutes drive away from this beach is SAL de IBIZA or “THE STORES”. It offers a magnificent collection of variety of apparel, interior design, hippie fashion and haute cuisine. You can also find vast range of accessories like jewelry, hats and sunglasses. This shop will make you feel the essence of the island. You might also want to drive 9 minutes away to get to Las Dalias Hippy Market. It a very popular market which is open on Saturdays from 10am to 8pm.
