It is a long stretch of fine soft sand with unbeatable beauty and is easily accessible from everywhere. It represents a real oasis in the middle of this tourist center.

S’Arenal beach, measuring 650 meters long and 20 meters wide, has everything the municipality of Sant Antoni has to offer so that locals and tourists can enjoy themselves during the summer without leaving the town center.
This beach’s proportions allow you to always find a space to throw in your towel or lie down on a sun umbrella. The shallow water will give you a sense of ease as it is very safe for your young children. People with reduced mobility also have access to the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

It is 25 kilometers from Ibiza town and 1 kilometer from Sant Antoni town which you can reach by foot along the promenade on the seaside.
Get there by car, motorbike, bus, or ferry.
The taxi from Ibiza town costs over 30 euros.
From the town of Ibiza take the bus number L3 Eivissa-Sant Antoni. Or you can go by driving a car or motorcycle. Take the C-731 path towards Sant Antoni. When you enter the port of Sant Antoni, you can find a central roundabout with a distinctive Columbus Egg monument. You can park around this roundabout as the beach is just a short walking distance from here.

The Punics started to use the natural port of San Antonio in the 7th century B.C. The Romans chose to use the port of San Antonio after this wise civilization, and called it Portus Magnus, meaning wide port.
The current official name is “San Antonio de Portmany” in Spanish. In the Ibicencan language, the name is Sant Antoni de Portmany. Portus Magnus evolved to Portmany.

S’Arenal is the biggest beach in downtown Sant Antoni, the second largest tourist resort on the island of Ibiza. It’s the reason why there are many fun things to do in S’Arenal and around it.

Mexican food and sweets are in Palapa Ibiza, where the Columbus egg is situated on the port side of Sant Antoni.
They have all kinds of tacos: al pastor, roast beef, Mexican chicken tinga, sautéed vegetables, and prawn, delicious Mexican quesadillas, burritos, the typical nachos, ranch eggs and hot sauces of course. They also serve the best pizzas and tacos, in addition to the amazing Mexican food.
