Caló des Moro
Caló des Moro is the last cove located northwest of the Sant Antoni promenade. It is very famous for being one of the best spots to watch the sunset. In this area, the iconic beach clubs Café Mambo and Café del Mar were born, becoming legendary for their music and glamorous Mediterranean sunset atmosphere. Thanks to the legendary Ibiza DJ José Padilla, the Balearic Beat electronic music genre gained worldwide recognition here.

It is a small cove measuring 80 meters long and 20 meters wide surrounded by some rocky areas with soft sand and calm and shallow turquoise sea. This cove is urban; it has all the most important services to be enjoyed until sunset. It has a local pool, bathrooms, lifeguards, sunbeds, umbrellas, car park, hotels, pubs, restaurants, and bus stop. It has also a ramp in order for people with reduced mobility to enjoy the sea.

Caló des Moro is 25 kilometers from Ibiza town and there are 4 different ways to get there.
The first option and probably the easiest way is to take the taxi which costs around 30 euros from Ibiza town.
Second option is to take the bus number L3 Eivissa-Sant Antoni at the central bus station.
Third and the best option is to drive a car or a motorcycle to enjoy the view of the surroundings along the way. From Ibiza downtown, take the C-731 road towards Sant Antoni and from there, choose the way to Cala Salada. At the second roundabout, take the third left towards Cala Gració, then take the road that leads to Caló des Moro sign.

Café del Mar in Ibiza is a masterpiece. It was opened in 1980 and its name has become very famous all over the world because of its excellent chill-out music compilations since 1994. Several popular DJs and producers are linked to those compilations, performing for the cafes visitors on the gorgeous terrace.
