It is a small restaurant with few tables on the inside terrace and a few on the outside terrace of the entrance. Being small can sometimes be quite difficult to find a table, for that reason it is highly recommended to always book beforehand if we want to enjoy this magnificent restaurant specializing in paellas.
They have an extensive menu of paellas and rice of all kinds and is the only restaurant in the Balearic Islands with the certificate of Denomination of Origin due to its excellent paellas and the rice used. It is certainly a must on the island of Formentera if we talk about eating a good rice and even fideuas.
Kindness, sincerity and great sympathy for a very special restaurant on the island. Although they have meat dishes, fish and some other specialties, without a doubt if we visit La Mariterranea it is to taste some of their paellas. These are served in the same paella with spoons to eat directly, without dishes, as tradition dictates and as you know an authentic paella.
