The neighborhood is named after the vila of Can Mariano, near San Jordi. It is a very peaceful and quiet residential neighborhood, but just a few minutes from the dowstown and the best beaches (Playa d'en Bossa, Salinas, Es Cavallet, Cala Jondal …) and clubs of the island (Ushuaia, Space, Pacha, Blue Marlin, Amnesia, Privilege …)
