Needed no introduction, Louie Vega is one of electronic music’s elder statesmen. Few musicians can claim to have as much impact as the Latin-blooded, New York native. His prolific output under a slew of guises puts him in the top tier of entertainers – and he draws upon his diverse background Louie and his multi-talented singer/songwriter/DJ wife Anané continue this tradition 2023 with The Ritual in Club Chinois, a party drenched in the world sounds of House, Disco, Afro, Breaks, Garage and Soul – a melting pot of influences and convergence of cultures. It’s a party that has roots in Puerto Rico and Cape Verde, via the urban jungle metropolis of New York, but with an execution that is entirely Mediterranean.

The party previously held court at Club Chinois’ predecessor, HEART Ibiza, so it already has form for taking the clientele of Ibiza Marina on a musical journey. Guest include Andy Baxter, Ash Lauryn, Cassy, Dam Swindle, David Morales, Derrick Carter, DJ Harvey, DJ Minx, Harry Romero, Hyenah, Jeremy Underground, Joseph Capriati, Kenny Dope, Kitty Amor, Manoo, Moodymann, Nicole Moudaber, Phil Weeks, Pippi, Sarah Main, Seth Troxler, Todd Terry and Willie Graff.

The Ritual graces the decadent club every Wednesday from 7 June until 4 October.
